Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre by targeting civilians and medical teams in Gaza. A group of civilians was performing the noon prayer in the destroyed Al-Shati camp. The worshippers were suddenly attacked by Israeli aircraft with tons of explosive missiles, resulting in the dismemberment of their bodies. Residents rushed to rescue the victims, but the airstrike left dozens of martyrs in its wake. This tragedy occurred amidst a dire shortage of hospitals capable of accommodating the high number of injured and deceased individuals.
In Mawasi Khan Younis, the occupation forces targeted the tents of displaced persons, resulting in over a hundred civilian deaths. Medical teams are still working to evacuate the injured and wounded from the area. The site was struck by multiple missiles, and drones participated by firing at and pursuing civilians. Furthermore, the occupation aircraft targeted civil defense teams as they arrived at the scene.
All of this is happening under a severe siege on the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7. The siege has resulted in the destruction of 90% of hospitals and the healthcare sector, leaving civil defense teams without the necessary resources to respond effectively.
