Brutal War on Gaza Resumes and more than 400 Killed

The war on Gaza has resumed in a more brutal manner, as Israel reneges on the ceasefire agreement it recently signed with the Palestinians. The renewed aggression began with a surprise attack and intense bombardment that targeted all areas of Gaza. In this initial assault, around 400 people were martyred, most of them children.

The Palestinian NGO Network stated on Thursday that the Gaza Strip has entered an advanced stage of famine, warning of the consequences of food shortages on the health of children, women, and the elderly.

This came in a statement during a press conference held at the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Ramallah, which was followed by Al Jazeera Net. Representatives of several civil society organizations also spoke at the event.

The network confirmed that "the Gaza Strip has entered an advanced stage of famine," and warned of "the grave consequences this poses to the lives and health of civilians, especially children, women, and the elderly."

It also pointed to the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, "including bombing, massacres, and the prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the territory since March 2, 2025, as well as the depletion of the vast majority of food supplies, medical aid, fuel, and hygiene materials."
